Reputable Debt Relief Companies

Question: Can someone please tell me if filing personal bankruptcy will get rid of all my credit card debt?

Also, anyone know of a reputable (tried and true) debt relief assistance or debt counseling company?

Answer: Good Morning =)

Depending on your assets(house/car/bank accounts) you may be able to get all of your unsecured(credit card) debt discharged(forgiven) by filing chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Consumer Credit Counseling Service(MMI) helped my sister figure out that bankruptcy was her only option and MMI has been approved by the Executive Office for U.S. Trustees to issue counseling certificates in compliance with the bankruptcy code(needed for court.)

They only charged a fifty dollar fee total to counsel her, give her the needed certification for court and also the follow up paperwork she had to have for her bills to be discharged.

To find out what your options are, call or fill out the form online by following the link below.

Best of Luck to you =)

Question: Does a person still owe a debt if the company goes out of buisness?

I was in a car accident a couple years ago and recieved chiropractic care. The insurance company was billed. I just recently recieved my settlement. I was responsible for the entirity of the bills apparently because they had not yet been paid. I was supposed to pay them thru the settlement. Now I went to go pay the bill but the building was put up for lease, And the number was disconnected. I tried searching online to see if the company had moved, but had no luck. What should I do? Am I still responsible for that debt if the company goes out of buisness?

Answer: ~~You will be contacted if they closed through bankruptcy, or if they were bought out. Until you receive a billing statement, I would just set the payment aside so you'll have it. If they don't bill you, then hip-hip-hooray! You did everything you could do, so just wait and see.~~
